“What do I love most about being a physical therapy assistant? The satisfaction of being an instrumental part of a patient’s recovery from their diagnosis and all of the associated dysfunctions that go along with it.”
Brent Mills brings 26 years of experience in both outpatient and rehabilitation physical therapy.
He earned a Bachelors of Science in Journalism at Sam Houston State University and an Associate of Applied Science from the Houston Community College Physical Therapist Assistant program.
He became a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in 1994.
Brent specializes in gait and balance programs, involving retirees and post-surgical patients. Also, he works with cervical and lumbar injuries. Brent focuses on postural correction and spinal stability.
His orthopedic outpatient experience means he is capable of treating any patient who enters our clinic.
Brent’s understanding of muscle energy techniques and stabilization activities helps resolve chronic or acute injuries through problem solving specific to a patient’s diagnosis.
With 26 years of experience, Brent assists therapists while resolving the most difficult and common patient diagnoses.
Brent notes, “Compassion and caring is a major component in my personality and that transfers onto my patients and helps their recovery. I feel you should treat a patient the way you want to be treated if you were the patient.”
